Sewer installation Grundfos Sololift2
Purpose
When it is not possible or unreasonably expensive to drain wastewater by gravity from devices installed below the level of the collector or it is not possible to mount the system at an angle in case of reconstruction or modernization, the new Sololift2 installation will help you. With Sololift2 it is easy to create a drain for any plumbing fixture installed below the sewer level or located far from a gravity sewer pipe.
GRUNDFOS offers five different types of Sololift2 for different applications, mounting and spigot connections.
Sololift2 can be used for:
- arrangement of additional bathrooms in the basement, attic or any other place;
- installation of plumbing fixtures in the basement below the sewer level, as well as excellent protection against backflow from the main sewer;
- bathrooms in summer cottages;
- additional bathrooms in hotels and boarding houses;
- bathrooms for the elderly or disabled;
- reconstruction or modernization of toilets in offices and other commercial buildings for a limited number of users.
Design
A small-sized, fully equipped and ready-to-install pumping unit is a hermetically sealed plastic tank in which are located: a pump with a “dry version” motor with a check valve in the discharge pipe, a professional cutting mechanism and a powerful engine capable of handling even personal hygiene items (Sololift2 WC -1, WC-3, CWC-3), level switch, vent valve with improved carbon filter (no additional filters required), 1.2 m electric cable with Shuko plug.
The pump switches on automatically when the tank is full (switch-on level) and switches off automatically when the tank is empty (switch-off level).
