Scope and installation

The MC series electric pumps are made of cast iron of considerable thickness and high strength, wear-resistant and durable. They are equipped with a single-channel impeller that lifts liquids containing short-fibre solids in suspension. Pumps are recommended for the removal of sewage and sewage, water-silt mixtures, surface and ground waters in such facilities as apartment buildings, public buildings, industrial plants, multi-storey garages, underground parking lots, car washes, etc.

Structural characteristics:

• Pump housing, motor housing: cast iron.
• Base: AISI 304 stainless steel.
• Impeller: single-channel, cast iron.
• Drive shaft: stainless steel en 10088-3 -1.4057.
• Double mechanical seal: carborundum - type nbr on the pump side and O-ring on the motor side. Between them is a shut-off oil chamber for lubrication and cooling of the seal in the absence of water.
